My specialty lies in business process consultancy and the implementation of automation solutions, predominantly aimed at optimising transactional documents and operation-intensive business procedures.

My well established expertise in Process Automation is primarily channelled towards financial operations like Purchase to Pay and Sales Order Processing, although my proficiency covers a wide spectrum of process-related solutions.

A considerable part of my professional time is committed to attentive listening as prospective clients share their operational hurdles. In response, I apply process remapping techniques and automation tools to tailor effective strategies that address their unique challenges.

In my current role, I specialise in providing pre-sales leadership in the areas of process discovery, technical demonstration, and statement of works creation to our Automation Consultants and prospective customers alike.

Business Process Consultant Spectrum Aug 2018 – Dec 2021 (3 yrs 5 mos)

As a business process consultant, I bring expertise in optimising and streamlining organisational processes to drive efficiency and productivity. With a keen eye for identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement, I work closely with clients to understand their unique business needs and objectives. Through process mapping, analysis, and redesign, I develop tailored solutions that align with industry best practices and leverage cutting-edge technologies. My goal is to deliver tangible results by implementing innovative strategies, automation tools, and intelligent document processing solutions. Director of Professional Services Ben Johnson 2006 – Dec 2021 (15 yrs)

I specialise in working with documents wherever they are within their lifecycle. From document composition through delivery, print, capture, classification, recognition, data extraction, and workflow.

I’ve worked at Ben Johnson Ltd since 2006, progressing through several positions to my current role as Director of Professional Services.

Currently, I am responsible for the management of the Technical and Professional Services Departments within the Technology Division. My direct reports include the Technical Services Manager, Service Controller, and Professional Services Engineers.

I am responsible for the pre-sales, project, and post-sales technical support and solution design for managed print services and information management projects, where I am supported by my Professional Services team.

I lead the service team to ensure correct service levels are delivered with maximum efficiencies. I am supported in this role by the Technical Services Manager, their team of engineers, and the Service Controller.

Another aspect of my role involves product development and managing internal IT resources.

Professional Services Manager Ben Johnson 2010 – 2012 (2 yrs)

My role at this time covered pre-sales, project and post sales technical support and solution design for managed print services and information management projects. I was also responsible for product development.

Business Development Manager Ben Johnson 2006 – 2010 (4 yrs)

My role at this time was split between commercial and technical where I had my own sales targets but also responsibility for technical solution design and support.
